Yesterday I mentioned that Seattle was having a celebration parade for the Seahawks! Close to one million people came to Seattle! That’s more than the entire population of Seattle.
It was literally beyond cray cray. Traffic was terrible, parking was terrible and it was down right freezing out.
Luckily, the parade route went right by my old work.
The mass amount of people. Fourth avenue was like this all the way to Century Link Field.
Mr. Lynch himself was standing on too of the Ducks vehicle throwing skittles at the crowd.
Of course Pete Carroll himself was there!
The crowd went absolutely crazy when Sherman arrived holding the trophy! Could you even imagine being on the streets being him and the trophy close up? I wish that I could have, but after standing outside for over an hour waiting going upstairs sounded amazing. I could not feel my feet.
I’m so grateful to be apart of a community that loves their team so much! This was definitely a historic moment in Seattle’s history.
